-200 to 700 tees available at no cost to Relight the Lamp

– Atlantic sells ad space on the back, Relight the Lamp gets front chest logo

– Project under consideration

–       Approximately 250 flyers distributed on Memorial Day at parade

–       Westmoreland Cultural Trust gave permission to clean up façade; no money can be spent

  • Paint being donated by Lois Wolslagle of Woleslagle Interiors
  • Clean up day scheduled for Monday, June 20th at 9:00 am

• Irwin Borough Council on Wednesday, June 8 by Karen Glass

  • Supportive of Relight the Lamp
  • Wanted to know how many members we had and what our skillset is

• Irwin Business and Professional Association on ?

• Donated booth at Ethnic Food and Craft Fair on Saturday, June 11

• Donated 2” x 2” ad space on placemats

• Ethnic Food & Craft Fair on Saturday, June 11 by Karen Glass, Deb Andrison & Christina Gibbs

• Irwin Project on Monday, June 13 by Karen Glass and Kathleen Heuer

  • granted up to $150 for printing pledge cards
  • Offered the opportunity to become a committee of the Irwin Project (501c3 status)

Fundraising

–       Is it possible to offer up naming rights to large corporation? Ask WCT

–       First priority should be to find $150,000 to alleviate current roadblock

–       Concerns: what if project falls though? Do we return money to donors? How?

  • Indicate on pledge card that if the project falls through, money will be used for Irwin Project

Communicate to Irwin Project that we will accept their offer to become a committee; set up separate account for Relight the Lamp monies

 

Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 19 at 6:30 pm; location TBD
